The Invisible Class Film Screening

CSJ hosted a special screening of The Invisible Class at the Goleta Community Center, inviting the community to explore the root causes of homelessness. The event featured a powerful discussion led by CSJ board members and a local author Nancy McCradie, who also held a book signing for her memoir, A Meeting in the Rain, which shares her personal journey through homelessness and recovery. The evening fostered connection, awareness, and a deeper understanding of systemic issues. Through events like this, CSJ continues to educate the public, challenge harmful narratives, and advocate for compassionate, informed solutions.
